SentiSave is a digital savings app designed to help individuals and groups set, track, and achieve financial goals through a seamless, emotionally driven experience. The app focuses on motivating users to save more, while keeping the interface simple, transparent, and rewarding. The project aimed to build an app that blends the practicality of finance with the emotional satisfaction of progress, making saving feel both smart and meaningful
2. Problem Statement
Despite the desire to save, most young people struggle to maintain consistency. Saving feels like a task with no instant gratification. There’s no sense of reward, progress, or community support. Without visual progress or emotional reinforcement, users quickly lose motivation.

Micro-Savings Flexibility
Metric: Increased average number of deposits per user per week. Why: Allowing users to save very small amounts (KES 20–50) makes saving more accessible and encourages frequent deposits.
Instant Feedback
Metric: Higher percentage of users making an additional deposit within seven days of their previous one. Why: Providing immediate confirmations through animations and notifications reassures users that their actions were successful.
Goal Visualization
Metric: Greater proportion of goals completed compared to those abandoned. Why: Visual progress bars and milestone celebrations keep users motivated to stay on track with their goals.
Support & Guidance
Metric: Lower churn rate following failed deposit attempts or user issues. Why: Contextual in-app tips and quick access from community, WhatsApp and Chatbot to support reduce frustration and help users recover smoothly from errors.

Unified Shorts & Long-form Experience – A single adaptive player and integrated feed where both short and long videos share consistent controls and recommendations, eliminating the need to switch between content types.
Clean, Scannable Interface – Generous whitespace, high-contrast typography, and prioritized metadata (title, creator, duration) for quick reading and reduced visual overload.
Intelligent Search & Discovery – Predictive search with auto-suggestions, fast indexing, and robust filters (length, topic, creator) plus transparent recommendations to cut discovery friction and surface relevant content quickly.
